This is Me - Week One, Day Three: Relationships

For each day this week, we will be taking a key topic and going big with it. Today we're focusing in on relationships.

Starting a new page, write your new core belief about both friendships and romantic. Write a affirmation that backs up this new core belief, and stick images down that represent how you want your relationships to look.

For example:

I am deserving to have a good, strong, core community of friends in my life.

Affirmation: Friends who are loving and supportive now come into my life.

Remember, with affirmations, keep it positive. I'll explain why later. An example of a negative would be "All unsupportive friends now leave my life."

This is Me - Week One, Day Two: Your Script

Carried over from the Dream Create Journal blog.

Okay so yesterday may have stung a little, but it is crucial we put our finger on the thinking that holds us back! Now for the good stuff!!!

Starting a completely fresh page, look at each sentence you wrote yesterday on your list and write a new, more empowering belief. Be as imaginative and open as possible. Think in terms of if anything were possible.

For example:

Money - I can do what I love and have financial freedom

It may be vague, but that's okay! Remember, we're starting small and this could be a BIG leap for many of you. Also, the interweb is your friend. Look for examples online. Especially Pinterest.

Do this to all the topics on your list. Notice the unbelieving thoughts that come to mind. We're going to develop a new habit to quieten those down and replace them with empowering ones.

Shaker Dashboard For my Clear TN With The Lollipop Box Club

For this months box, I absolutely had to make a shaker dashboard for my clear TN. With my sewing machine all ready, and fingers crossed that she will once and for all behave for me, I cut the acetate to size, stuck on the pompom trim and just went for it!

Thankfully, it was a success! I then added some sequins and both the ephemera and butterfly shiny decors that came with the kit. Then I finished the dashboard off by stitching all the way around.

I also wanted to add some wording to the paperclip that came with the kit. I chose a clear sticker as I thought that would look as though it blended in.

All that was left was to put it all together. I added the postcard into the folder I made with the previous kit.

The butterfly charm, also from the kit, really compliments the look.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I really do hope this has inspired you. If you are not yet a subscriber, but would like to try one of these kits, use Code LOLLIPOP/G2 for £2 off the subscriptions or £2 off any of the full price one off kits. Autumnal Clear TN Set Up

It's all about the layers!

This month I really wanted to decorate my clear travelers notebook for Autumn. These clear notebook covers are begging to be decorated!

I started by creating a dashboard out of some patterned cardstock. The size is easily achieved by using an existing insert as a template. Next, I pulled out everything from the box and chose things that made me happy when put together.

You can create fantastic depth to something by adding layers! I did this by using multiple layers of the exclusive papers and the paper bags.

As you faff and play around with different elements, making sure you experiment with them as you go along, you'll come up with neat little tricks. For example, as I stuck the paper bag down, I found instead of cutting it, if I folded it under onto the other side, it created another pocket! This could hold goals lists, and my postcards from the box.

I also included both functional and keepsakes in my dashboard. For example a to do list and my tag from Lisa's box.

Finally, using the stickers and ephemera, including tabs, I decorated different elements of the cover, and finished off by adding the cute pumpkin paperclip.

I really hope this inspired you to try out the layering technique using as much of the kit as possible!

Inspiration Project Planner Set Up

Many people have asked what is the point of decorating the pockets in planners?

My answer?

They make fantastic inspiration boards! The minute you open your planner you can be immediately inspired! And inspiration brings motivation. Something you want when you're planning anything.

As I am using this A5 from The Lollipop Box as an inspiration project planner, I went all out and decorated the pockets. Yes it's a lot of faffing, but it's worth it. You can use up bits of ephemera, paperclips, stickers, cards, etc. Cut them up if you have to in order to give a bit of a background to one of your pockets.

Next I added a clear plastic wallet. I did have to re punch the holes for it to fit my planner as it was one from a two ring binder at Wilko's.

I reinforced the holes with beautiful glitter hole reinforcers...

Next, I added the month and week to view sheets from the Lollipop Box. Octobers colours just happen to match my lilac planner perfectly.

I found a task list from a previous box and clipped it to the plastic wallet. This meant I had my task to hand.

The planner itself is a lovely compact A5 and feels lovely to hold. Perfect for on the go! And it has two, yes TWO pen loops! The loop is magnetic and so very easy to open and close.

Look out for an upcoming video showing you how I actually use this planner.
